The philanthropic giving component of Project Inspire, appropriately named the Inspire Giving Fund, is an endowment fund which enables participatory philanthropy. Individuals who make a one-time minimum contribution may vote at the end of each investment cycle to determine the distribution of the fund dividends. Regional 501c (3) nonprofit organizations may be eligible for these grants.

The initial goal of Inspire Giving is to raise $1 million. Minimum contributions of $250 qualify individuals for fund membership. "Founding Member" status will be given to the first 1000 people to contribute $1000 or more to the Inspire Giving Fund.

The Sacramento Metro Chamber has partnered with the Sacramento Region Community Foundation (SCRF) to administer the Inspire Giving Fund. To become a member of the Inspire Giving Fund, simply donate online or via check.
